But the IU association decided last year that it wanted to do more. Joining a sorority is an amazing way to get involved, make life long friends and memories. You will not only become a member of a fantastic chapter but you will become part of the large Greek Community here at IU, which contains 22 sorority chapters, 32 fraternity chapters. The plots are placed in order of when they received their charter at IU. Eight of the nine currently have active chapters at IU, and all have had a presence on the IU Bloomington campus.
